GRASSBORN
Design a title sequence that is inspired by Greek mythology, particularly the story of Pegasus, whose divine nature made him both untouchable and untameable. The concept explores the representation of the “beast” as a symbol of transcendence and uncontrollable power.
In my reinterpretation, the myth is translated into the world of ants, who perceive a robot lawnmower — the “Skysplitter” — as a godlike and destructive force. This perspective highlights puts to scale how different our world is towards the ants.
This project got selected for the wonder festival 2025 with we are the next generation expo.

I developed an impactful campaign designed to resonate throughout the entire city. Starting from its original dynamic elements, I was inspired by the fluidity and strength of motion. I explored this concept using a simple beam of light as the foundation—referring to a flashlight shining on a surface and transcendence through variation and transformation. This led to the creation of a cohesive visual system adaptable across multiple mediums. The campaign extended from digital components, billboards, and posters to live installations, wall paintings, and badges. It culminated in an event that brought people together in a collective, immersive experience.

While recovering from hospitalization due to a rheumatic disease, I approached this assignment as an opportunity to gradually re-establish a normal creative workflow. Because of my physical limitations, I decided to work entirely in a digital environment. The project’s visual language is heavily inspired by the works of Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars), whose distinctive style combines minimalism with expressive motion. I began the process in Procreate, developing a workflow that allowed for seamless integration into Adobe After Effects without compromising quality loss. This method enabled me to sustain a consistent rhythm while minimizing strain on my joints. The final outcome is an R-rated animated title sequence that explores mature approach through a stylized perspective.

Currently studying Visual Design at LUCA School of Arts Ghent. I've grown fond of finding new mediums to capture light in different formats. Through an experimental approach I've grown my interest in 2D/3D design. Guided by curiosity, I approach each project as an opportunity to uncover new ways of seeing and understanding the interplay between form, perception, and space.
